Busy month - with a number of events including doing two cookery demonstrations at the Oxford Castle Food and Wine Festival. The weather was not kind but the event seemed to go well and I enjoyed doing the demos. A good audience on the Saturday and a great audience on the Sunday. Thanks to all those who watched and asked questions. All the recipes are on the recipe page.
Cooked again in the studio and it was a bit hectic, with 3 guests and two recipes a packed hour. Why does 60 minutes seem to go by in under 5! Great fun tho!

Was asked to do a cookery demonstration at the Oxford Foodies Festival. It was a good event with a huge range of producers, hot food, cooking equipment suppliers, wine and beer producers and many more. I was on the same stage as Gary Jones from Le Manior and I had chance to chat with him on teh day as wel, what a lovely man and great chef!
Cooked live inthe BBC studio. What a blast! Fun to do and I think it was fun to listen to.

Extremely busy month and I am grateful and pleased to say that I have had a number of new customers at both markets and booking events. Thank you to all of you who have asked me to cater for your events!
Fun at the BBC and it a great way to challenge yourself to find recipes and producers to talk about their passions and bring it all together in food.

I was in the studio for my second broadcast on BBC Oxford, see the page The Late Chef on the BBC.
The Wallingford Food Festival took place on the 14th May. We had Louisa Hannan from the BBC there on set up day. The day itself was very successful and we had Gerald Dickens open the event. The weather was kind to us and we had over 1500 visitors on the day!! It was a lot of hard work but a great day and lots of coverage on radio, press and online!

Did first broadcast on the Afternoon Show with Jo Thoenis from the car in the middle of Le Haye du Puits, Normandy, which was a bizzare experience but a lot of fun.
Started on the Wallingford Food Festival project!! What fun this has been getting it all together and building a new event for Wallingford.

Asked by the Economic Development team at SODC to present at the Business Innovation event held at Cornerstone in Didcot. Had a great morning including being interviewed by Lou Hannan on the Phil Gayle Breakfast Show BBC Radio Oxford.
Had some great comments about my presentation and about the market. Good to get positive feedback!
Also trailed the idea of the Wallingford Food Festival. It seemed to get a good response and Phil Gayle was very enthusiastic!

The Wallingford Local Producers Market 3rd Birthday celebrations with Angie Best opening the market. Interviewed on BBC Radio Oxford as well.
Two canapes events this month, both went extremely well.

TheLateChef at the Local Producers Market in Wallingford. These were a great success and have built up awareness of the service and food that we offer. In 2010 TheLateChef will be attending as many of the markets as possible.

The website has been updated with three new TheLateChef Stores. The book store contains all your favourite TV Chefs, food writers and more. The cook store contains a wide range of kitchen utensils, applicances and more. The entertainment store has CDs, DVDs from your favourite artists, bands, actors and more. Please take a look and order for Christmas.

The website is updated. Launch is expected on the 12th October.
The website went live mid October and has had a growing number of visitors.

TheLateChef purpose built kitchen is completed. The task of fitting it out with the equipment starts. New cooker, fridge, freezer and other items are installed.
TheLateChef conducted a sample tasting of a dish. Over 40 Chicken Saute Normande and Summer Roasted Vegetables were delivered personally to a randomly selected list of Moulsford residents. The results are currently being collated and will be published shortly.

Had stall at the Bunkfest - a good day, great weather and a lot of fun cooking fresh hot dogs and steak sandwiches. At times we had people queing for their snacks! Very busy day.
Fulfilled a short notice request from a new client for an event at the Oxford University Boat Club in Wallingford. Clients very happy!!
